Step-by-Step Guide to the SUA Online Application Process
Currently, the Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA) is accepting applications only through the SUA Online Application System (SUASIS). Therefore, all candidates who wish to join SUA for the 2024/2025 academic year are required to submit their applications online through the SUA Online Application System.
Before beginning your application process, it is important to understand all the steps required to submit your application through the SUA Online Application System, from registration to selecting your preferred course. Please follow these steps to complete your application.
Step 1: Visit the SUA Online Application System website.
Open your browser and type the SUA Online application portal URL or Directly click on this URL http://197.250.34.38:8389/index.php/registration
Step 2: Carefully read the Admission Eligibility Requirements for SUA Admissions:
After reaching the SUA Online Application System (OAS) website page, you will find the SUA Admission Eligibility Requirements for various programs you intend to join. It is very important to read these instructions carefully before proceeding to the next step.
Step 3: Registration
In this section, you will need to fill in the following information, Entry category, Application Type, Citizenship, Email address, Mobile Number, and CSEE index number click on the NEXT button to proceed. Your details will be synchronized from NECTA, verify your names, and click the Register button to activate your account. You will be provided with a username and password.
Step 4: Logging into the SUA Online Application system
After successfully creating your account through the SUA Online Application System (SUASIS), the next step is to log into that system using your username (your Form Four exam number) and the password you created during registration. Enter your username and password to log into the system.
Step 5: Paying the Application Fee
After entering your credentials for login, the SUA Online application portal will detect that you haven’t paid your application fee, the Control number will be displayed so that you can pay your application fee, proceed with the next step of paying the application fee. Use that number to pay the application fee through any available payment methods. You can make payments using AIRTEL MONEY, TIGO PESA, M-PESA, CRDB BANK, or NMB BANK.
Step 6: Selecting your Qualification Category
After completing the payment of the application fees, you will be able to log in using the credentials you created earlier, after logging in the next step is to select Qualification Category and click NEXT to proceed.
Step 7: Enter and Confirm your Ordinary Secondary School Qualifications and A – Level qualification.
In this step, you will be required to enter your O – level and A – level index numbers. After entering your information your results will appear on the page, ensure that your names and results match and click the Save button and click on the next button to proceed.
Step 8: Enter Student Basic Information
In this step, you will be required to fill in your personal information such as Sex, Marital Status, Disability Status, Birth Date, Nida ID, Birthplace, Sponsor details, Country of Birth. Enter all the required information and click the NEXT button to proceed.
Step 10: Enter Applicant’s Other Information.
In this step, you will be required to enter other necessary information such as Full Address, Mobile Number, Email Address and Next of Kin Details and click the Next button to proceed.
Step 11: Confirm your Grades Obtained in ACSEE and CSEE.
Review the grades displayed and click the Confirm button to proceed.
Step 12: Program Choice Selection.
In this step, you are required to select the program of your choice then click save. For Degree level, you can choose a maximum of 5 choices, Three for diploma and two for certificate programs. Choose your programs and click the save button to save your selection. Ensure that you choose courses that match your qualifications.
Step 13: Preview and submit your application:
The final step is to review and verify your information and the course choices you have made and click the submit button to send your application. You will receive a congratulatory message informing you that your application has been received. After submitting your application, it is advised to regularly visit the SUA website and login into your SUA Online Application system (SUASIS) profile to check the status of your application.
How to Track Your Application Status
You can check the status of your application through the SUA Online Application System. Log into the SUA Online Application System regularly to see if your application has been successful and if you have been selected to join SUA.
If the selection results show that you have been accepted by SUA along with other universities, you will need to confirm your choice of one university through the SUSIS system.
